Amazing how time continues to accelerate. I used to spend think a lot about why the passage of time seems to accelerate as you get older. For example, I distinctly remember the feeling of how, when I was 10 years old, Saturday afternoon’s could stretch off to last forever. Nowadays, a Saturday afternoon is blown away in the blink of an eye.
It feels like this quickening of time has happened during my first year at Sloan as well. The core has come and gone. And so has the second semester! In that time, I have met a wonderful group of people here, taken some great classes, and done some neat things on the side.
So if any class of 2008 folks are out there reading this, the one biggest piece of advice I can give to you is this: make sure to have a list of personal goals written down for what you want to achieve. (I guess this rule applies in general) Goal prioritization is truly a wonderful thing!
