Python

When I was CTO for a tech startup in Beijing, I spent most of my time managing programmers. In this role, I was exposed to many programming and scripting languages including Java/JSP, PHP, Perl, & unix shell scripts. But the language I enjoyed the most was Python, an object orientated scripting language which has an incredibly clear syntax. Python was loads of fun to hack together random glue jobs wherever needed, such as server administration tasks, mail and DNS management, etc.

Now as an MBA student, and in my previous incarnation as a consultant, my work obviously doesn’t require Python. However, I still enjoy playing around with this scripting language on the side. I’m working on hacking together my first Python based game, which I hope to put online soon. Stay tuned!
